First, drivers come from motherboard makers, not Adaptec. Reason is that the motherboard vendor has custom interrupts/offsets, and they have to work with adaptec to build a special driver that works with that particular motherboard. Contact your mobo vendor. Don't try to hack a disk driver, they chose not to offer win7 support for 1 of 2 reasons - Either they tried, and there is some inherent incompatibility that would cost them too much money to get it to work, so they blew it off - They chose not to for marketing reasons.

Since even adaptec does not offer a driver, then that tells you that your motherboard vendor isn't being lazy, their hands are tied. In any case, you can bet your life that if there is a bug that causes data corruption, it won't be fixed. Look at the adaptec downloads for any supported driver.

Sorry, give up. Buy a different driver, or perhaps configure your PC to run ESXi 4.0 (it is free), and run Win7 as a virtual machine. This is really a great thing to do anyway as when/if you get a new PC, you can just copy over the virtual machine, and it is hardware agnostic.
